HOW IT WORKS
I select the shows/events that I can offer group discounts for, or events* that are requested by the client (or work with you to select a list). *Not all events offer group discounts.
A date/time for the event is chosen.
I hold a number of seats for the group with the ticket agent(s).
I select 2nd tier premium rate tickets. There are often in the stalls, or dress circle. I buy tickets with families in mind, and always aim to select the best seats available for the group price.
BOOKING YOUR TICKET
I publish a booking link for the show on the website. This is also sent out* in a newsletter, email, WhatsApp Group, and other MyCultureClub social media sites.
*If the group booking is requested by a specific group, then the link is sent directly to the group leader. The group has first dibs on booking seats for the event!
The client can book directly via the booking link. I use Stripe for credit card online payments. Read about Stripe online security here
Seating is not chosen by the client. I am allocated a group of seats by the theatre agent dependant on availability, price at the time of booking. These can be across rows, but will usually be in a group together.
Selected seats are discussed chosen by myself in discussion with the agent.
Seats are allocated to each client/group by myself, or the group leader is sent the tickets, and they allocate the seats (school, PTA, group).
Tickets are sent out to the client by Royal Mail (or online).
If requested, tickets can be sent to the group leader.
I advise clients to take a photo of their tickets when they receive them. This is a quick way for me to issue a replacement if needed.
Lost tickets are not a problem - I can replace these if the client contacts me up to 4 hours pre-event. I will arrange for them to be collected at the Box Office. (nb. Client must show ID).
